I feel like people who say they don't like ice-cream are lying. I mean its cold, creamy, sweet and delicious, what's not to like? I have compiled a list of some spots here in KWZ where you can grab ice-cream or another cold treat!
- Kona Ice of Wendell - this is a shaved ice truck, but Mr. Jim is the nicest guy around and since he makes the rounds in the neighborhood, I felt he should be included! :)
- Pelican's Snowballs of Knightdale - they serve different flavored shaved ice
- Pelican's Snowballs of Wendell - they serve different flavored shaved ice
- Sam's Flying Scoops in Wendell - they serve ahhmazing homemade ice-cream
- Sunset Slush of Zebulon - they serve ice-cream and Italian ice!
- Wendell General Store - they serve Hershey's ice-cream
- 41 North in Wendell - they serve a killer warm brownie topped with ice-cream
- Baskin Robbins in Knightdale - inside Dunkin Donuts serving milkshakes and ice-cream
- Vida Dulce in Knightdale - offers ice-cream and several varieties of popsicles
- Suggy Bears in Wendell - a newish local spot that serves homemade local ice cream
- Clayton General Store/Shake Shack - These milkshakes are CRAZY!! All kinds of toppings. Not technically in KWZ, but worth the short trip!
